Malpractice

Malpractice was created for the Institue of Crazyology Show in 2013. It began as a digital collage and was then painted over with acrylic. The digital print, printed in faint monochrome, on a synthetic satin substrate served as the underdrawing for the painting.

This piece was shown as an Ilumination. the 'Illuminations' collection displayed in Berlin in 2012, New York in 2013, and at the Crazyology show in SF in 2013. The Illuminations are glowing double sided light panel that were suspended by cables from the ceiling in a darkened room. The glowing images created a kind of 2.5D installation (i.e.; a three dimensional deployment of 2D images).
