Marker Drawings

These mearker drawings were executed shortly after the 2013 Crazyology Pop-up at 1000 Van Ness. I picked up a sketchbook that claimed to be specifically for markers. I know not what they did to the paper, but it was certainly treated with strong smelling chemicals - quite toxic I suppose - and was actively outgassing while I drew in it. Evidently this did not dissuade me from my purpose of making improvised marker drawings without any preparatory sketches. I filled up nearly the whole sketchbook over the period of a few years until, much later, in early 2022 the sketchbook was stolen from the very same 1000 Van Ness venue where I (again) held a "Crazyology" pop up exhibition. Alpha to Omega - I suppose. A sad loss . . .
