Suspension of Disbelief

This watercolor painting was made as a thank you gift to my friend, and fellow vintage Citroen enthusiast, Dale Ice. The "suspension" referred to in the title references Citroen's famous hydropneumatic suspension used in its cars since the 1955 debut of the Citroen DS (a DS can be seen in the painting!). At the time, I had a mishap with my 1969 D-Special which required replacing the engine. Dale, very generously, provided me with a replacement engine.
