Re: Made in Thailand

This is the second version of a painting I made while staying in Bangkok in 2002. I haven't located an image of the first version yet. This second version was made because a man in Australia saw the first version online and was so captivated with it that he asked to buy it. Since I had already given the first version to a friend, I offered to make a new and improved version. The new version was made at my home studio in Stinson Beach, hence "RE: Made in Thailand". The second version, is (I think) and improvement over the first, though substantially similar. The painting was made with colored inks (from Singapore!) and crosshatching and lines with quill pens.
